Industrial Services of America’s Quality,
Environmental, and Health & Safety Policy

It is the policy of ISA to provide quality products and services for our customers in a setting that is both safe to our employees and suppliers and environmentally responsible. In order to achieve these goals ISA is committed to a continuously improving Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety (QEH&S) Management System.

Our quality program is based on the continual improvement of our practices and procedures. We will develop and maintain a quality program conforming to best practices within the scrap recycling industry. By listening to and working with our internal and external customers we will exceed their expectations and strive to become their preferred supplier.

It is our goal to eliminate work-related injuries and illnesses and to provide a safe work environment. This will be accomplished by concentrating on the following areas; a) supervisor accountability, b) active accident investigation to eliminate root causes, c) ongoing assessment of the ever-changing workplace for hazards, d) maintaining equipment in a safe operating condition, and e) continued relevant employee training. We believe that safety does not just happen; it requires commitment from the entire Industrial Services of America team.

We are committed to complying with all environmental laws, regulations, permits, and standards of practice applicable to our operations and plan ahead for future requirements. We will monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the effectiveness of our environmental practices through mandatory periodic audits, reviews, and the successful implementation of new environmental initiatives.

ISA senior management is responsible for this policy and its scope, for communicating it and ensuring its implementation. ISA managers are responsible for integrating these core values and objectives into their decision-making processes and operational practices. All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with this policy.
